Where The Good Girl Leaks Her Power
Shadow Teaching + Kundalini
This week is about seeing where good girl conditioning has been quietly leaking your power.
Where you overgive to feel valuable.
Where you stay quiet to keep the peace.
Where you say yes when your body says no.
Where you feel guilty for needing space.
Where you abandon yourself to stay liked, needed, chosen, or approved of.
We are not here to shame the good girl.
We are here to see the pattern clearly so you can stop letting it lead.
This week, we name the places your energy has been leaking, then use Kundalini, breathwork, meditation, and shadow reflection to begin calling that power back into your body.
Core Intention:
I call my power back from the places I abandoned myself for approval.
The good girl pattern does not always look obvious.
Sometimes it looks like being helpful.
Being agreeable.
Being easygoing.
Being the one who understands.
Being the one who says, “It’s fine,” when it is absolutely not fine.
Being the one who keeps the peace, carries the mood, absorbs the tension, and makes sure everyone else is comfortable.
This is how the good girl leaks her power.
Not always through one big dramatic moment, but through tiny repeated abandonments.
A yes when your body meant no.
A smile when you wanted to tell the truth.
An apology before you even took up space.
A boundary softened so someone else would not feel uncomfortable.
A desire buried because you did not want to seem selfish, needy, dramatic, difficult, or too much.
This week, we are not judging that pattern.
We are seeing it.
Because what you cannot see, you cannot alchemize.
And what you keep calling “just how I am” may actually be conditioning that taught you love, safety, approval, and belonging had to be earned through self-abandonment.
The good girl was not stupid.
She was strategic.
She learned how to survive.
But she does not get to lead your life anymore.
This week’s shadow question
Where have I been leaking power by trying to stay liked, needed, chosen, or approved of?
This week’s reclamation
I can honor the good girl without letting her run my life.
Replay coming soon.
Shadow Teaching + Kundalini
Where The Good Girl Leaks Her Power
Use this session to name the pattern, move the energy through your body, and begin calling your power back from the places you abandoned yourself for approval.
This practice may include shadow teaching, Kundalini, breathwork, meditation, and integration.
Bring:
A journal
Water
A quiet space
Anything you like to have nearby for practice
Journal Prompts
Use these prompts after the session, or return to them throughout the week.
You do not need to answer all of them at once.
Let the one that stirs something in you be the doorway.
This week’s prompts:
Where have I been saying yes when my body means no?
Where do I perform “easygoing” when I actually have a need, desire, or boundary?
Where do I feel responsible for keeping the peace?
Where do I over give to feel valuable, needed, or chosen?
What part of me is afraid of being disliked?
What has the good girl in me been trying to protect me from?
What has this pattern cost me?
Where is my power asking to come back?
Closing reflection
Complete this sentence:
I am ready to stop leaking my power through…
Then write:
I call my power back by…
Integration Practice
Call Your Power Back
This is a simple practice to return to throughout the week whenever you notice yourself slipping into the good girl pattern.
Use it when you catch yourself overexplaining, over giving, apologizing before speaking, saying yes when your body means no, or shrinking to keep someone else comfortable.
The Practice
Place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.
Take one slow breath in.
On the exhale, say:
I see the pattern.
Take another breath.
Say:
I do not have to abandon myself to be loved.
Take one more breath.
Say:
I call my power back now.
Then ask yourself:
What would honoring myself look like in this moment?
You do not have to make a dramatic change.
You can begin with one honest breath.
One pause before saying yes.
One moment of not apologizing for existing.
One small choice that tells your body:
I am not leaving you anymore.
Closing Affirmation
I honor the good girl for how she tried to keep me safe, but she does not get to lead my life anymore.
Next Steps
After you complete this week’s session, take a little time to integrate.
You do not need to rush to the next thing.
Let yourself notice where the pattern shows up in real life this week.
Come back to the practice when the good girl mask gets loud.
Share in the Facebook group if you feel called.
